Movements I appreciate as a cancer survivor and cancer caregiver
- For anyone who wishes to stand up for science.
- For anyone who wants to support a breast cancer initiative aimed at the fact that Black women are 40% more likely to die of breast cancer than white women: H.E.R.
Praise the bridge that carried you over ~ George Colman
For all those who fear an unpredictable Social Security check, a late tax refund, higher food prices, a hold on degree program acceptance for bright young people of the generation encouraged to go into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) careers, loss of education loan forgiveness, loss of early childhood education programs, loss of cancer research progress, loss of freedom of speech to name yourself on a passport, these are times we need to reflect on our own resilience and how we can be bridges for one another.
Two Delightful Podcasts
I stumble upon new to me fiber podcasts each week to knit by and will share one or two every two weeks. Free YouTube beats paying for streaming service content.
Nellie and Eve: A fiber spinner and plant dyer out of Wales
Two Purls in a Pod: Two friends in Australia who enjoy each other’s company and knit immaculate masterpieces.
