Waterwoman Knits

My grandmother taught me to knit at age six, and I am forever grateful for that lifeline. I enjoy passing on to others the basics. Knitting can be a great solace, calm in a storm, play with colors, tactile fiber art, and never-ending learning. It is my favorite nonverbal gift passed down through time around the world. In my view, there are no mistakes and many ways to learn. You are welcome here.

As I build this site, I will add more features as I can afford them, with the intention of starting a vlog and class offerings and skill tutorials down the road. There are so many techniques I have yet to learn that I like the concept of an exchange rather than teacher-student. I find in any group of knitters no matter the level of experience, we can all learn from one another.
