I replace Dory’s “just keep swimming” with knitting and all is good in the churning mind.
I can’t be thankful enough to be part of a group of women at various stages in life, in several countries, supporting one another through knitting and life. Your connection gives me faith in other humans and the power of collective shared wisdom during challenging times that transcends borders and culture.
I intend to post an update Monday after the knitathon to share how much of a difference we made. You can donate here until midnight EST 04/05/2025: Erin’s Knitathon Link
I will be having a minor surgery April 8 and will learn whether I need a major surgery a week later. Pending the results, I will get back on the thus far empty wagon of applying for jobs with benefits. Am grateful for a referral from someone local. I’ve got at least 12 more good working years left in me and after 15 years as a freelancer, it would be fantastic to have the kind of support I need while contributing my energy to a place that I can be of service.

My next vlog episode will include resources, an interview, and insights into the topic of knitting and mental health. There are some surprising things I found!
Big Thank You
To those who contributed to my Knit For Food Knit-a-Thon campaign! If you would like any of my stash yarn from prior video, please reach out.
